CALDWELL MEDICAL CENTER NAMED REGIONAL COVID-19 ANTIBODY ADMINISTRATION CENTER

October 6, 2021 – Caldwell Medical Center was named a Regional COVID-19 Antibody Administration Center (CAAC) by the Governor Andy Beshear during the September 30, 2021 press conference. Caldwell Medical Center is one of fifty one Regional Antibody Administration Centers in the state of Kentucky.

On October 1, 2021 Caldwell Medical Center began administering COVID-19 Monoclonal antibody therapy to individuals with COVID-19. Monoclonal antibody therapy can be effective at decreasing hospitalization rates and progression to severe disease and death for patients with mild to moderate COVID-19.

The COVID-19 Antibody Administration Center will be open from 8AM-5PM Monday through Friday, closed on weekends and holidays. The clinic is equipped to offer up to 80 treatments per day to positive COVID-19 patients.

Screening criteria to receive treatment; positive COVID-19 test result is not greater than 10 days old. Symptoms onset no longer than 10 days. This includes pediatric patients: age 12-17 or greater than 88lbs.

•Patients are required to submit proof of positive COVID-19 test to theirprimary care provider or to Caldwell Medical CAAC Scheduler prior tobeing scheduled.

•Proof of positive COVID-19 test or order for Monoclonal antibodytherapy from a primary care provider can be faxed to (1-855-509-0205).

•Patient will call 270-365-0428 to set up an appointment to receive theMonoclonal antibody therapy once positive test or order is received.

•At home COVID-19 test will not be accepted.
