Five-year-old Elliot Hillyard had already suffered three prenatal strokes before she was born prematurely. Diagnosed with cerebral palsy at age three, Elliot also struggles with other developmental disabilities, including vision, speech and eating issues. Fortunately, Elliot’s mother, Sara, has found the support her daughter needs at Caldwell Medical Center.
Elliot has physical, occupational, and speech therapy twice a week with the ease of a therapist visiting her one day in school. Caldwell Medical pediatric therapy program offers comprehensive services designed to fit each child’s unique needs with our unmatched support through our partnership with Caldwell County and Dawson Springs school systems. We can provide support throughout every step of their journey.
Both Sara and Elliot love the therapy staff at Caldwell Medical. “The people are great,” Sara says. We’ve gotten to know each other really well and we appreciate that Elliot gets the consistent care of familiar faces who make the atmosphere fun. She’s so much happier at Caldwell Medical! That means a lot to me.”
