About Barbara Hickman
Barbara Hickman, APRN, is a family medicine provider specializing in primary care, preventative medicine, women’s health, family planning and more. She was active in the United States National Guard for a year and was Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserve for four years. After being honorably discharged she went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Health Arts from the University of St. Francis and a Master’s of Science in Community Health Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner Program in 2001.
Barbara has 35 years of nursing experience and has worked in intensive care, surgery, pediatrics and family medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, traveling and is an avid reader. Barbara has lived locally in Caldwell County for 21 years.
