Biography
Walker Estes, DPM, obtained a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University and finished a residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at Detroit Medical Center. His expertise lies in state-of-the-art foot and ankle surgeries, including ankle joint replacement, limb salvage, deformity correction and sports injuries. He offers both surgical and nonsurgical treatments for the foot and ankle.
Dr. Estes is board certificated in foot as well as reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery. He also serves as the director of wound care for Baptist Health Deaconess. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and member of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and currently serves as the president elect of medical executives committee. When he’s not seeing patients, he enjoys boating, golfing and supporting Happy Feet, a local nonprofit organization providing shoes to children.
